Details: What Discover Sycamore really is about is connecting the local businesses to the community, and beyond. We work hard marketing our members to the community through shop local campaigns and constantly attaching our members names to everything we do. We also provide outlets (like our blog) to allow them access to as many markets as possible. We plan and execute numerous free community events. These events include outdoor movies, chocolate shopping weekend, Block Party, Classic Car Cruise Night, Farmers Markets, and so many more! We use these events as fundraisers for Discover Sycamore (we are a nonprofit) and awareness-raisers for our members. We know that Sycamore is an ideal place to live and raise a family, which is why we work so hard planning family friendly events. Discover Sycamore is also devoted to developing a strong tourism destination locally. We are developing tourism packages showcasing the many wonderful educational, historic and scenic areas of Sycamore. Also, our exquisite and unique dining opportunities.
